Job Description

This Residential Care Worker role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team at Riverside, where you will provide direct care and support to residents in a residential setting. As a key member of our care team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centered care, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

The successful candidate will possess a caring and empathetic nature, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £26,937.00 per annum (pro rata), plus benefits including 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) and flexible working options.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Deliver personalized care and support, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility issues.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care setting, with a focus on customer-focused care delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as required by the rota.
  • Awareness of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
