SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in a supportive and friendly environment.
About the Role:
This position is term-time only, with 38 hours per week, including INSET days. The successful candidate will support a Key Stage 2 child during core curriculum hours, while also working collaboratively with the SEND team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support a child with special educational needs in a Key Stage 2 setting
- Work closely with the SEND team to provide tailored support
- Develop strategies to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Help the student develop their independence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a Level TA qualification or equivalent (Level 3 in Childcare)
- Have expertise necessary to work effectively in a Junior school setting
- Be reliable, flexible, and approachable
- Excellent communication skills
