Job Title: Senior Pharmaceutical Account Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Account Manager to join our Healthcare team at GlobalData Plc.
About the Role:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-60 GlobalData clients worth in excess of £1m, covering a range of companies across the manufacturing, drug development, and services sectors of the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Facilitate meetings and deliver relevant, impactful client presentations to senior management-level clients that present our full range of services as meaningful solutions.
- Prepare high-quality proposals and successfully negotiate to win profitable new business and grow renewals.
- Achieve monthly sales revenue targets based on new business, alongside growth of existing subscriptions.
- Identify new business and revenue growth opportunities.
- Prepare account reviews, plans, and accurate sales forecasts.
- Contribute to the larger business by providing relevant client feedback and intelligence to the product development and marketing teams.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience within a business-to-business environment of the Pharmaceutical industry.
- A successful track record in outgoing sales and account management.
- A growth mindset with the ability to work both individually and collaboratively with the wider team.
- Client-focused with a good network of information buyers within a number of verticals.
- Proven ability to engage with C-level decision makers and coordinate activity on major accounts.
- You will need to demonstrate a proven and successful track record of growing accounts.
- Strong quantitative skills, comfortable with financial data, corporate, and market statistics, and other aspects of company & market analysis and consulting.
