Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in menu planning and food preparation.
  • Supervising the kitchen team and ensuring smooth operation during service.
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene according to health and safety regulations.
  • Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
