HLTA Support Assistant

Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated HLTA Support Assistant to join their team at a special educational needs school in Stoke on Trent. As an HLTA Support Assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting students aged 4-18 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

Your role will involve collaborating with teachers to deliver customized lessons, assisting students in their learning and development, and fostering a positive educational atmosphere within the school. To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Level 4 or higher HLTA qualification and demonstrate previous experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Zest Education Ltd is an REC audited agency and is dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary: Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
