Job Title: Travel Sales Specialist

Company Overview:

We are a leading holiday company, Flavours Holidays, seeking a skilled and experienced travel sales specialist to join our team.

Salary:£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to build relationships with new and existing guests, providing guidance and assistance with their holiday bookings from inquiry through to feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outgoing sales calls in line with company targets and current business focus
  • Respond to guest emails
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Make bookings for holidays
  • Process payments
  • Regularly update the CRM system with guest notes
  • Review new brochure requests and make first contact with guests
  • Review and respond to positive guest feedback
  • Assist with selling events for Amici members
  • Attend events for Amici members when requested
  • Review and escalate negative guest feedback to the Head of Customer Experience
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Attend regular sales training sessions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A good broad education up to A-level is required.
  2. A business or travel and tourism qualification is ideal.
  3. 2-3 years of travel industry experience, preferably in a Product team, is necessary.
  4. Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills is crucial.
  5. Friendly, caring, and well-travelled is essential.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  7. Able to work under pressure with strong organisational skills is necessary.
  8. Able to travel both in the UK and overseas for work is required.
