Key Role in Transforming Content Procurement

Sports betting and gaming are evolving rapidly, and Entain is at the forefront of this change. As a leading player in the industry, we're seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Director to lead our global content procurement team.

About the Role

This critical position will be responsible for driving cost optimisation across all content expenditure worldwide. You will develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance commercial alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead the global content procurement team in developing and implementing short-, mid-, and long-term value creation and commercial optimisation strategies aligned to the company's objectives.
  2. Partner with the Chief Procurement Officer and other stakeholders to drive the procurement transformation agenda and accelerate procurement influence and capability within the organisation.
  3. Create and communicate strategies for identified procurement priorities, including Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Spend Management, Talent Management, Demand Management, and Stakeholder Engagement.
  4. Define plans and objectives for all content spend by supplier, business unit, and geography globally, including international and joint venture activities.

You will also engage and influence the global content community, including executive committees and the board, around business strategy and ensure commercial alignment. A key aspect of this role is creating a global content strategy that ensures commercial tension and a clear roadmap of activity and benefits.

Requirements
  • Exceptional commercial experience, including strategy creation, implementation, and benefit delivery.
  • Experience in building digital, transformation, and commercial strategies.
  • Data-driven analysis and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modelling to define optimal cost structures.
  • A strong understanding of various content market types and dynamics.
