Procurement Director

Sports betting, gaming, and interactive entertainment are evolving rapidly, and Entain is at the forefront of this change. As a Procurement Director - Content, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's content procurement strategy, driving value creation, and commercial optimization across the globe.

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be part of the Procurement Team, which partners with Entain globally to support its procurement needs. You will embody the Procurement team's values, grow capability, and embed best practices within the group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team in optimizing content expenditure across Entain globally
  • Creating and delivering short-, mid-, and long-term value and commercial optimization strategies aligned to the business objectives
  • Defining plans and objectives for all content spend by supplier, business unit, and geography globally
  • Engaging and influencing the global content community, including Exco and Board, around business strategy and ensuring commercial alignment
  • Creating a global content strategy, ensuring commercial tension, and a clear roadmap of activity and benefits
  • Financial reporting of cost improvement on a P&L basis, interpreting CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation, and cash flow
  • Building a cutting-edge knowledge of the supply base, providing value-added insights to the content community
  • Understanding critical areas for innovation and building a pipeline of opportunities to be shared with the supplier community
  • Identification of global synergies and content M&A opportunities, and identification of revenue improvement opportunities using stakeholder and supplier networks

Requirements include:

  • Significant commercial/procurement experience at management level
  • Exceptional commercial experience, including strategy creation, implementation, and benefit delivery
  • Experienced in building digital, transformation, and commercial strategies
  • Data-driven analysis and TCO modeling to define optimal cost structures
  • A strong understanding of the varying content market types and dynamics
  • Commercially rounded, demonstrating comfort in all types of models and value (revenue/cost reduction, etc.) with experience in writing board-level business cases
