Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Lifeworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supportive services to students with learning disabilities, promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging independence.

About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with tutors to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Your primary responsibilities will include motivating and inspiring students, facilitating a positive learning environment, and promoting independence. You will also be responsible for supporting students in their transition from school to college and helping them develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Motivate and inspire students with learning disabilities
• Facilitate a positive learning environment and promote independence
• Work closely with tutors to provide supportive services to students
• Support students in their transition from school to college
• Develop essential life skills and encourage students to practice independence

Requirements:
• Experience of working with people with learning difficulties in the education sector
• Great IT skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Commitment to building and fostering positive relationships in the workplace
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:
• Competitive salary of £18,150 per annum (£12.00 per hour)
