Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients across various clinical areas.

Main Duties
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, utilizing a client-centered approach and evidence-based practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prioritizing factors involved in the client's presenting condition.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the discharge planning process, ensuring timely and safe discharge of clients.
  • Participate in education and training programs for clients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and evaluative records of patient care, adhering to local and national guidelines.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working in acute hospital settings or related areas
  • Good understanding of multidisciplinary team working and client-centered care
