Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Newham Hospital. As a key member of our inpatient team, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills, working across a range of ward settings and departments.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients, including advanced assessment and treatment, individual and group education, and provision of assistive devices and equipment.
- Work within the Band 6 rotational Occupational Therapy scheme, rotating across the Newham Hospital site and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement complex disability management and advocacy services, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Fulfils KSF outline for Occupational Therapist (Band 5)
- DBS clearance
- Evidence of CPD
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Member of the British Association of Occupational Therapy
- Experience gained across core rotations
- Supervision/Appraisal skills and Practice Educators training
