Head of People Partnering and Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned HR professional to lead the People Partnering and Service function at Venn Group. As a key member of the People Directorate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's HR strategy and delivering a transformative project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business partnering model, collaborating with business leaders to drive employee engagement and performance.
  • Manage Subject Matter Experts, overseeing the operations of their functions and ensuring seamless delivery of HR services.
  • Lead the review and enhancement of Employee Relations capabilities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Work with the People Directorate Management Committee to evaluate and improve the employee experience, developing and implementing policies that drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with People Directorate Leaders to review and enhance the employee and service value proposition, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization.
  • Lead the review of existing HR systems and technology, recommending improvements and digital solutions that support the strategic People agenda.
  • Partner and collaborate across the People Directorate to drive business outcomes and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Extensive senior HR generalist experience in a Public Sector body, with a proven track record of leading HR teams and driving business outcomes.
  • Experience of leading employee relations teams with complex casework, with a strong understanding of employment legislation and best practices.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading HR Business Partnering teams, with a focus on strategic business partnering and employee engagement.
  • Extensive experience in designing and contributing to People Strategies, with a strong understanding of organizational change and transformation.
