Job Title: SACT Trained Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Worthing Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care and treatment for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy, medical and supportive treatments or undergoing medical investigations on the Amberley Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cancer
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical staff
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any concerns to medical staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration
  • Experience in haematology/oncology nursing
  • Recognised SACT administration training qualification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
