Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Devon County Council. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized support to children and young people to help them achieve their personal goals and aspirations
  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships and a sense of belonging
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
