Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our team at Devon County Council. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children and young people to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of activities and programs to promote the well-being and development of children and young people
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the provision of high-quality care and support
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of child development and the needs of children and young people
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the provision of high-quality care and support
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
