Contract Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team at Stafforce Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of steel fabrication contracts, including contract administration, project planning, and budget management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project delivery according to specifications and timelines.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
  • Monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve issues, manage change orders, and ensure contract compliance.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in steel fabrication project management and contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Steel project management experience: 3 years (preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driving Licence (preferred).
  • CSCS card for site visits (preferred).
What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay rate: £40,000 - £45,000.
  • Overtime: paid at Time + 1/3 after 40 hours / Sundays at Double Time / Bank Holidays at Double time plus a day in lieu.
