About the Role

We are committed to supporting midwives who have previously held an NMC PIN to return to their career and re-join the NMC register. Our Return to Practice programme offers a seconded route into midwifery, providing a supportive environment for you to refresh your skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, underpinned by evidence-based practice and our values.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of midwifery practice relevant to the clinical area.
  • Contribute to the continuing development of professional midwifery practice in the department.

What We Offer

We will provide you with a supportive environment, including access to role-specific training, online learning, and a full preceptorship programme on re-entry to the register. You will continue to be paid throughout your training and will transfer from a Band 3 to a Band 5 seamlessly.

Person Specification

  • Previously fully NMC Registered.
  • Maths/English GCSE or above.
  • Passionate about returning to midwifery.
