Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our client's team in Memphis, TN. As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of data, including the logical and physical design and implementation of databases. Your duties will include database management, performance and recoverability, application administration, patching, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain application and database tuning and connectivity standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and security regulations.
  • Manage database backup and recovery procedures, disaster recovery preparation, and associated exercises.
  • Migrate code, database changes, and data through various stages of development.
  • Diagnose and resolve database performance, capacity, and replication issues.
  • Collaborate with SAN, server, applications, and operational staff to support database objectives.
  • Manage Concurrent Programs, Request Sets, Request Groups, Workflows, and troubleshoot Workflow Mailer/Notification issues.
  • Administer and maintain Single Sign-On for Oracle Applications.
  • Utilize Applications DBA utilities to support and maintain the multinode environment to tune and improve database performance.
  • Administer and maintain Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Oracle WebLogic Server to support Oracle EBS system connectivity with integrated systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Applications DBA, combined with Oracle Applications system administrator, Oracle WebLogic Administrator, and related technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting on Unix and Linux environments using Shell, Perl, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge in AIX v7.1/v7.2, Linux, IBM P series hardware, Storage Area Network, Rubrik maintenance.
  • Experience in application monitoring using Grid Control and other tools.
  • Experience in cloud migration is preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is an onsite position, W2 only, no C2C.
