Drive Business Growth in Energy and Commodities

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Business Development to join our team at Publicis Sapient. This role involves driving new business growth within the Energy and Commodities sector, particularly in Supply and Trading.

In this position, you will lead the strategy and execution of new pipeline development for the company in assigned markets and industries. You will develop qualified opportunities through cross-selling the entire PS service portfolio and ensure that PS is invited to competitive RFPs in areas of significant advantage.

You must have a proven track record of developing and closing new business within the Energy and Commodities sectors. Your skills and experience should include expertise in developing and breaking into target client sets, working within the Energy and Commodities sector, and leading RFP processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive new business growth within the Energy and Commodities sector.
  • Lead the first meeting with new contacts and develops initial contacts into qualified opportunities.
  • Cross-sell the entire PS service portfolio to develop seed opportunities into larger scope deals.
  • Grow the perception of PS and our capabilities both externally and internally via marketing campaigns, thought leadership, business partnerships, asset demonstrations, reference materials, and client successes.
  • Ensure PS is invited to competitive RFPs in areas of significant advantage.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT and business professional services with a record of developing and closing new business within the Energy and Commodities sectors.
  • Practical expertise in developing and eventually breaking into target client sets.
  • Experience working within the Energy and Commodities sector and connections within your industry to facilitate access to clients and opportunities.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and proficiency in Microsoft presentation tools.
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this role is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
