Education Assistant

We are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Darlington area. This full-time position will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a child in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) who requires additional support due to challenging behavior.
About the RoleThis position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, ensuring the educational and personal development of a child. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm and will be responsible for providing individualized support to the child.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to a child in the EYFS.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
Candidates should have a minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools and experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to join a committed team of school staff and experience supporting children in primary education, specifically in Early Years.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. As a member of our team, you can expect:
