This Good Academy in the heart of Newham is seeking dynamic, experienced, and motivated individuals to join their team as SEND Teaching Assistants.

The school has a strong and supportive student support department, where you will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to encourage and support individual pupils to reach their full potential.

About the Role

As an SEMH/SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students in various ways, including directly supporting students, helping to organize teaching and learning resources, and encouraging students to engage with and inspire young learners.

You will be joining a team that is passionate about education and committed to making a difference in the lives of students.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working as a teaching assistant (desired)">
  • An interest in the education sector">
  • SEND experience (Desired)">
  • A recent graduate (graduated within last 2 years)">
  • Ability to engage with and inspire young learners">

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, experienced, and motivated, with a passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of students.

We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
