Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic / Mechanical Fitter to join our team at AMETEK MRO. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and assembling hydraulic and mechanical components to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components to their sub-components
  • Conduct inspections, including interpreting technical data, fault diagnosis, and identifying wear, damage, or corrosion
  • Assemble hydraulic and mechanical components from technical data
  • Support test bay engineers in testing hydraulic and pneumatic units
  • Maintain and implement standard operating practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
Requirements
  • Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
  • Numerate and literate with a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain quality and compliance
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
