About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic / Mechanical Fitter to join our team at AMETEK, Inc. As a key member of our MRO team, you will be responsible for disassembling and inspecting hydraulic and mechanical components, identifying wear and damage, and performing assembly and testing tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and inspect hydraulic and mechanical components to identify wear and damage
  • Perform assembly and testing tasks using technical data and procedures
  • Support the test bay engineer in testing hydraulic and pneumatic units
  • Maintain and implement standard operating practices and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Meet quality standards in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company procedures
Requirements
  • Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering
  • Numerate and literate with a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • Ability to interpret and follow compliance manuals
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
