Mechanical Fitter Position Available

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Sterling Cross. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for disassembling and reassembling hydraulic and mechanical components, carrying out inspection duties, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic and mechanical components
- Carry out inspection duties, including fault diagnosis and interpreting technical data
- Test hydraulic and pneumatic units
- Assemble various hydraulic and mechanical assemblies, components ready for final testing and inspection
Requirements:
- Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering via apprenticeship or similar
- Good numeracy and literacy skills, minimum GCSE in both
- Able to work to tight deadlines and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, both written and verbal
- Well-organized and self-motivated
