We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team at an outstanding primary school in Newham. This role is integral in helping children with diverse learning needs flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored assistance to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD and self-harming behaviors. You will foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students, using your skills to support diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide morning support to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD and self-harming behaviors.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students, using your skills to support diverse learning needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
  • Provide crucial support across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to the needs of different age groups.
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
