Purpose of the Role:
- Develop and oversee Ecommerce and digital functions to drive business growth.
- Lead and grow the Marketing and Ecommerce team to achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage and enhance the overall Marketing function to improve brand reputation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive Ecommerce sales growth and achieve targets.
- Ensure the website is on-brand, functional, and competitive in the market.
- Align digital and social media postings with company objectives to enhance brand awareness.
- Deliver on-brand marketing campaigns on time and within budget to meet business needs.
- Foster a motivated team embracing continuous improvement and innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet sales targets for websites and hotline to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure customer UX is on-brand and up-to-date to improve customer satisfaction.
- Keep website products updated; liaise with the buying team to ensure accurate product information.
- Organize photo-shoots and deliver segmented email campaigns to engage customers.
- Set and manage PPC/SEO strategy with agencies to improve website visibility.
- Manage Trustpilot relationship and update website policies to maintain a positive online reputation.
- Develop and implement Social Media strategy to drive traffic and attract showroom visitors.
- Achieve financial objectives and enhance brand reputation through effective marketing strategies.
- Liaise with external marketing companies and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Implement media efficiently and report to the executive team to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Identify new target markets and develop business cases to drive growth and expansion.
- Roll out showroom campaigns and manage POS updates to enhance customer experience.
- Organize local events and engage with local communities to build brand awareness and loyalty.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in Ecommerce sales growth and revenue increase.
- Retail experience essential; premium brands or home furnishings sector desirable.
- Experienced people manager with a positive, flexible attitude to lead and motivate the team.
- Hands-on approach with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
- Experience managing agencies and third parties to achieve business objectives.
- Effective communication skills and creative writing ability to develop compelling marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work across two group brands and manage multiple tasks to achieve strategic objectives.
- Relevant technical competency or qualification to drive digital marketing initiatives.
Package:
- £50-60k + up to £20k in performance bonuses per annum.
