Job PurposeThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and outcomes for the children and young people in their care, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the children's home, ensuring it meets the organisation's approach and ethos.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Manage a team of staff, providing supervision and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.
- Ensure the home is compliant with all relevant legislation and contractual requirements.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
- 2 years' experience working with children in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year at a senior level.
- Supervision or management experience.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive Residential Manager or Deputy Manager looking to take on a leadership role in a new children's home.
