Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Novoexec is seeking an experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our OFSTED Registered Children's Homes in South London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with vulnerable children and young people in a residential children's home environment or in a mental health secured unit or hospital facility for children. You will also have experience in managing staff, including completing supervision and appraisal processes.

We are looking for someone with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management pathway) or equivalent. You will also need to have a good standard of written and verbal English, including report writing and assessment skills.

The role will cover 3 homes in South London and will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week based at home. The Registered Manager position is particularly varied and would be a combination of supporting the team and working hands-on with the young people within the homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children's Homes
  2. Ensure the highest standards of care and support for our young people
  3. Manage staff, including completing supervision and appraisal processes
  4. Review and ensure good standards of practice in recording and monitoring
  5. Liaise with other agencies and contact with the local community
