About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Paralegal to join our team at D Young & Co LLP. As a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal, you will provide critical support to our Solicitors in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting Solicitors: Provide direct support to our Solicitors in preparing bundles, correspondence, and other documentation.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct legal and commercial research to support our Solicitors in their work.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare first draft letters and witness statements with attention to detail and quality.
  • Liaising with Authorities: Liaise with authorities such as Customs and Trading Standards, and assist with the preparation of evidence in civil and criminal matters.
  • IP Portfolio Support: Conduct preliminary assessments of IP portfolios in support of potential litigation and audits.
  • File Management: Maintain up-to-date files and records, both in hard copy and electronically.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about current developments in Intellectual Property law.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: LLB Law / GDL and/or LPC.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, writing, and research skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with experience working to deadlines.
  • Drive and Ambition: The drive and ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused work environment.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to develop strong working relationships with effective verbal communication skills.
