About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Director to lead the Estates Capital Development and Delivery Programme for a large Public Sector organisation in the Greater Manchester region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for devising, coordinating, and managing programmes of work in a timely and effective manner, leading and managing external contractors, and contributing to the overall management of the Capital team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for capital projects
  • Manage external contractors and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
  • Monitor and manage contract performance and delivery
  • Day-to-day cost management and financial planning

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a capital-related leadership role, preferably in a public building or healthcare estate environment
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and strategic leadership
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
