We are a leading provider of power generation and emergency back-up systems, working closely with prominent companies across the UK. As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a highly skilled Service and Engineering Works Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily operations, preparing quotes, mobilising engineers, and managing administrative tasks. This includes coordinating engineer mobilisation, scheduling site visits, and ensuring effective communication with customers and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of Quotes and Budgets: Prepare detailed quotes and budgets for small works projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Quote Submission and Tracking: Submit and track quotations to clients in a timely manner, ensuring prompt responses to their queries.
  3. Handover Documentation: Assist in the preparation of handover documentation for small works projects, guaranteeing seamless project delivery.
  4. Engineer Mobilisation: Coordinate engineer mobilisation and schedule site visits, ensuring efficient project execution.
  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues via various channels, including email, phone calls, and other means.
  6. Documentation and Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  7. CRM System Management: Manage CRM system enquiries and project folders, facilitating smooth project management.
  8. Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Evaluate and prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements for each project, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Meetings and Record-Keeping: Schedule meetings and maintain accurate records, promoting transparency and accountability within the team.
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business or Administration
  • Prior experience in coordination or administration, preferably in a dynamic B2B environment
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Valid full driving licence
  • Experience in service management or the electrical/power generation industry is an advantage
