Industrial Systems Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to work as a Site Operations Specialist at our facility. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site's mechanical systems, conducting routine maintenance, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and maintain optimal performance.
- Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems through regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or ONC) and experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £41,000.04 per annum including shift allowance.
