About the Role

The Priory Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at The Ayr Clinic. As a Charge Nurse, you will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to the ward-based nursing teams
  • Ensure a high standard of patient care, complying with all quality standards and statutory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and quality walk rounds
  • Support the Ward Manager in managing the ward and its staff
Requirements
  • Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor
  • Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership
  • Good computer skills
