The Priory Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at The Ayr Clinic. As a Charge Nurse, you will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership support and training to the ward-based nursing teams
- Ensure a high standard of patient care is provided, complying with all quality standards and statutory requirements
- Conduct regular audits and quality walk rounds to maintain high standards
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and growth
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation
- Trained Assessor/Supervisor
- Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued Professional Development and leadership
