Job Description

This Primary School SEN Assistant role in North London offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing inclusive education and promoting the wellbeing of every student.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with experienced educators and support staff, collaborating on the development and implementation of personalized education plans, and creating engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to students with SEN, including one-to-one and small group work.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement IEPs, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging lesson plans, incorporating diverse learning styles and approaches.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting student participation and confidence-building.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and deliver training sessions, enhancing knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEN.

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
