About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist Lead to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of pathologists and ensuring that we deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of pathologists to deliver a high-quality laboratory service
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Provide scientific advice and support to clinicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Participate in quality assurance and audit activities to ensure that our services meet the highest standards
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in a relevant field (e.g. pathology, biomedical science)
  • At least 5 years' experience in a laboratory setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of UKAS and GCSP standards
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £68,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including:
