Pathologist Lead

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist Lead to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of pathologists and ensuring that we deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Manage a team of pathologists to deliver a high-quality laboratory service
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
- Provide scientific advice and support to clinicians and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Participate in quality assurance and audit activities to ensure that our services meet the highest standards
- BSc or MSc in a relevant field (e.g. pathology, biomedical science)
- At least 5 years' experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of UKAS and GCSP standards
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £68,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
