Job Title: Public Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, Scotland. As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting health and well-being, reducing health inequalities, and improving the overall quality of life for our community.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of Public Health Consultants, Nurse Specialists, Health Improvement Specialists, and Public Health managers to develop and implement effective health promotion strategies. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with local authorities, community planning partners, and other stakeholders to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health promotion strategies to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes
  • Collaborate with local authorities, community planning partners, and other stakeholders to drive positive change
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective health promotion programs
  • Contribute to the development of innovative health promotion strategies and programs
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Full registration with a license to practice with the GMC
  • Experience in public health or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
