We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to gain a comprehensive understanding of public health practice, including health protection, health improvement, and health inequalities reduction.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of public health professionals, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including public health consultants, nurse specialists, health improvement specialists, and public health managers. Our department is research-active, with strong links to local universities, including Aberdeen University and Robert Gordon University.

NHS Grampian provides healthcare services to a population of over 500,000 people in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray. Our region boasts breathtaking natural beauty, with the Cairngorms National Park and the rugged North East coast easily accessible.

This LAT post is open to both medically and non-medically qualified candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the national Public Health Training scheme. Successful non-medical candidates will be appointed on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, with a salary based on Band 8D, proportionate to the year of training undertaken.

Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. Applicants may be eligible for excess travel and relocation expenses, as per NHS Circular PCS(DD) 2010/8 and NHS Grampian's relocation policy.
