We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Assistant for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with diverse needs and a proven track record of delivering high-quality support.

About the Role:

  • Provide targeted support to students with SEN, using a range of strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.">
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators (SENCO), and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).">
  • Assist with the delivery of personalized interventions, including small group and 1:1 support.">
  • Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation in school activities.">
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEN.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.">
  • A deep understanding of SEN strategies, including behaviour management techniques and supporting children with learning challenges.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.">
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.">
