The post is located within Baston House School, a well-established educational institution in Kent. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team to facilitate collaborative working, consisting of Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Assistant Psychologists, and Therapies Assistants. The clinical team is embedded within the school's structure, enabling effective multi-disciplinary working across education and residential staff teams to maximize clinical outcomes for pupils.
You will be working within the framework of the service's policies and procedures, as well as existing multidisciplinary team and clinical governance structures, to support service development and ensure quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities- Facilitate multidisciplinary team working to achieve optimal clinical outcomes for pupils.
- Supervise Assistant Psychologists and contribute to their professional development.
- Work collaboratively with a range of key partners, including education and residential staff teams.
- Develop and implement interventions based on a strong research evidence base.
- Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery, development, and project work.
- Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
- Registration with the HCPC and BPS.
- Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists.
- Experience working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex trauma, mental health needs, and behaviors of concern.
- Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with individuals and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting.
- Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children.
- Experience in lecturing, teaching, or training.
- Full valid UK driving license and access to a car.
