About the Role
The Clinical Psychologist will be part of a well-established clinical team at Baston House School, working collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Assistant Psychologists, and Therapies Assistants to facilitate Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) working.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures, contributing to the development and quality assurance of clinical services, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality interventions that are grounded in research evidence.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and develop empowering environments that promote positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Assistant Psychologists and contribute to the development of clinical services
- Collaborate with MDT members to deliver high-quality interventions and promote positive outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
- Registration with the HCPC and BPS
- Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists and contributing to the development of clinical services
- Experience of working with children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and developing empowering environments that promote positive outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively with MDT members and develop effective relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
