About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact Real Estate Finance team as a Director of Recoveries, managing complex recoveries and distressed assets. The role involves developing a governance framework, managing stakeholder relationships, and strategically mitigating potential losses on key cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a structured framework for managing non-performing exposures, setting the foundation for effective risk management.
  • Oversee the debt recovery process, collaborating with stakeholders including clients, guarantors, and industry professionals.
  • Directly manage high-risk cases, aiming to restore clients to performing status.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and provide guidance on recovery strategies.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven credit underwriting experience in UK Real Estate Finance.
  • Solid background in recoveries or non-performing asset management.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Capability to advise on mitigating losses and managing distressed assets effectively.
