Job Description

A Breakfast Chef

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Chef to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the highest standards.

  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods, lift heavy pots and pans, and perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Culinary qualification or experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Food hygiene qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards and the ability to follow them strictly.
