About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Breakfast Chef to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Assist with menu planning and development, providing feedback and suggestions for new dishes and recipes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting the expectations of our guests.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant.

Requirements

  • Culinary qualification or experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Food hygiene qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menu requirements and kitchen demands.
