Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled OTC Business Process Specialist to join our Finance team at Nomad Foods. This role will play a crucial part in embedding a new ERP system and best-in-class Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

About the Role

  • This position will be responsible for improving collections by building and maintaining customer relationships, investigating and resolving queries in a timely manner.
  • You will also be involved in managing customer-related queries, assessing credit risk, and advising on credit limits for new and existing customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in sales ledger activities, supporting report production, and using Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in operating accounting, spreadsheet, and email software.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly contact customers to confirm payments and perform follow-up calls when required.
  • Manage customer-related queries, collaborating with the sales team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assess credit risk and advise on credit limits for new customers and revisions for existing customers.
  • Timely posting and allocation of cash and credits to customers, including matching claims against relevant rebates or promotional accruals within the ERP system.
  • Ensure all assigned accounts are continually reconciled, credits applied, and properly controlled in line with procedures.
  • Evaluate actual risk on overdue balances and propose adequate provisioning levels in consultation with the sales and commercial teams.
  • Perform billing processes, including preparation of AR month-end schedules and reconciliations.
  • Keep customer master data up to date and provide documentation as requested to enable prompt payment.
  • Support implementation of process improvement across the function.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests and provide documentation and reports required to fulfill the request.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in O2C and sales ledger activities.
  • Experience in supporting report production and using Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in operating accounting, spreadsheet, and email software.
  • An understanding of Account Receivable and credit control processing activities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

What We Offer

Nomad Foods offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
