Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Moxy Glasgow SEC. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Arrival and Departure: Greet and welcome guests, handle check-in and check-out procedures, and ensure a smooth transition of guests throughout their stay.
  • Concierge Services: Respond to guest requests, provide information on local attractions and services, and make recommendations to enhance their stay.
  • Shift Checklists: Complete all necessary tasks and checklists to ensure the front desk area is well-maintained and organized.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and management, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Focus: Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using hotel management systems, including Opera (PMS), and other relevant software.
  • Language Skills: Fluently speak and write English, with a second language a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
