Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions within the Teradata environment.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
  • Implement robust data modeling techniques and database design strategies to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough performance tuning and optimization of existing databases to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Participate actively in the testing and deployment of new features and enhancements to our data platform.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve database-related issues and inquiries.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for database objects, applications, and processes to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with Power BI, including data visualization, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Solid understanding of Teradata SQL syntax, database design principles, and data modeling methodologies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Teradata utilities and scripting languages to automate tasks and streamline processes.
  • Familiarity with database performance optimization techniques and tools to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices within a business intelligence context.
  • Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
