About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Relief Lodge Manager to join our team at Churchill Estates Management Ltd. As a Relief Lodge Manager, you will cover the absences of permanent Lodge Managers on an 'as and when required' basis at retirement developments within a reasonable travelling distance of your location.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the maintenance of the property and provide a first-class service to Owners. You will be working at the heart of Churchill Estates Management, promoting a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for Owners.

You will be based at a central desk within the development, where you will be a visible and reassuring presence. Your duties will include administering the office, arranging contractors to maintain the building, and complying with health and safety checks and standards.

You will also play a key role in facilitating social events and supporting the sales team with customer viewings. You will liaise with a range of departments and external contacts to ensure the smooth operation of the development.

Hours of work and presence on site will be subject to negotiation between yourself and the Area Manager when work is available.

About You

This role will suit someone looking for a flexible role, content to work as and when required. The position won't be suitable for people who are already committed to permanent work elsewhere.

You will need to understand our customers and have a desire to make a positive difference. With the focus on providing a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for the Owners, you will have an outgoing and friendly personality with a love of people and socialising.

You will know when to act with sensitivity and diplomacy but also have the efficiency and assertiveness to manage the safety of the Owners and the security of the developments.

You will also be happy working independently on your own initiative and be computer literate with previous experience of using Outlook.

Previous property management, social housing, retail, care work, customer or hospitality experience would be advantageous.
