Mainstream School Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a highly skilled Mainstream School Teaching Assistant - SEND Support Role to join our team in Morecambe. As a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting the educational and social development of a non-verbal pupil with Down's Syndrome.
Responsibilities- Support the pupil's daily routine and integrate them into mainstream school activities.
- Develop a supportive relationship with the pupil, focusing on enhancing their educational and social skills.
- Utilise specialised communication techniques to interact effectively with the pupil.
- Implement educational plans and activities tailored to the pupil's unique learning needs.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the pupil's education and care.
- A competitive hourly rate (£13.18 per hour).
- The opportunity to make a positive impact on a pupil's educational journey.
- A stable, long-term contract until at least July 2025.
