Production Planner

Masonite in the UK is a leading door manufacturing company, and we are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in creating an efficient and achievable plan that allows production to run smoothly and meet our strategic business KPIs.

About the Role

The focus of this role is to review and update minimal inventory and re-order parameters to ensure that finished goods are held at optimal levels. You will create a plan that meets customer requirements, both internally and externally, and support the Production Planning Manager/Department regarding all aspects of Production Planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and update minimal inventory and re-order parameters to ensure that finished goods are held at optimal levels.
  • Create a plan that meets customer requirements, both internally and externally.
  • Support the Production Planning Manager/Department regarding all aspects of Production Planning.
  • Work closely with the planning and materials manager and other departments to produce daily production planning schedules.
  • Work with the production team to ensure that the production can meet the current and ongoing demand requirements.
  • Prepare relevant reports around or slab material availability.
  • Analyse data from a variety of sources to develop and provide management information.
  • Monitor and maintain finished goods inventory levels in accordance with set targets.
  • Ensure all production planning activities support the overall Customer Service performance targets.
About You

We are looking for a self-starter who is able to act on their own initiative. You will be tenacious and resilient, with strong IT skills and the ability to easily adapt to new systems/packages. Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally, are essential.
